I was searching the web for Street Art on Sunday and came across an incredible photo of a piece by the Granada-based artist El Niño de las Pinturas on the blog El Bueno, El Feo y El Malo.
I commented on the stunning photograph and the quality of the art and said that I would check out more of the artist’s work, as I hadn’t heard of him before.
When I spotted this piece in a Friedrichshain doorway a couple of days later I thought that it was by El Niño and posted it as such but it has been pointed out to me by Mogli from the blog Mogli Oak Berlin that this is by an Australian artist called Matt Adnate.
My apologies to both artists for the error and anyone who read this post before the correction was made. And thanks very much to Mogli for enabling me to correct the mistake and give the right credit.
It is actually by an Australian artist named Matt Adnate (http://demandattention.com.au/) who was in Berlin last year (also painted the one outside of Cassiopeia) Could you please tell me where this one is? Greatly appreciated.
Thanks for pointing out my mistake. I’ll alter the post to credit the right artist – at the time Rondje, whose blog I link to in the post (well worth checking out, his photos are stunning) questioned it but I couldn’t find definitive proof of the artist. This is on Boxhagener Strasse near the Strychnin Gallery.
Yeh definitely worth crediting Adnate, he is amazing! I saw him doing a live painting session at Stroke festival last year…really awesome!!! Thanks!
I’m always happy to help a fellow street art enthusiast and Dolores Burrito fan. I’ve been checking out your blog and I’ve liked your FB page so I can keep updated.
Thanks for your support!!! My site is pretty new, especially the facebook page, but i hope you find something to interest you on there.
